No Bridge too far for Woodley Lucas

Woodley Lucas joined hundreds of people from Godalming, Haslemere and across the country to take part in a sponsored walk across nine of London's Thames bridges to raise money for CHASE Hospice Care for Children. This year the annual fundraising event was on 26th September and started at 10am at the Tower of London Bridge and finished seven and a half miles later at the Imperial War Museum for a post event party.

Staff and partners at Woodley Lucas were pleased to walk with CHASE. We have been working with CHASE for many years, extending back to the construction of Christopher's hospice which was completed nine years ago. Since that time we have supported this worthwhile cause on many projects and hope to continue to do so for many years.

The day was fantastic and was enjoyed by all. Some of the children had travelled all the way up from the south coast. The diversity of culture and architecture on the route was fabulous and very interesting. All of the children did extremely well, especially four year old little Hannah who walked the whole way, and in fact walked over Tower Bridge twice!
