Woodley Lucas gain ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation

Quality is important to us so we're very pleased Woodley Lucas has achieved this national quality standard and been awarded this ISO accreditation by an independent body, supported by the government and recognised worldwide. Our new accreditation demonstrates to clients that Woodley Lucas has a continued commitment to quality and continuous improvement. As a company we are very proud of the service and quality we offer, and are delighted to receive formal recognition of this. Moving forwards into 2010 the ISO certification provides us with standard operating procedures, which include valuable communication and system feedback loops among our employees, managers and our clients. It helps us document and control our processes to help exceed customer expectations and ensure quality processes within our company.

As we strive to deliver continued excellence we have set ourselves further goals this year:

ISO 18001:2007 - Occupational Health & Safety:
Many companies are implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) as part of their risk management strategy to address changing legislation and protect their workforce. An OHSMS will promote a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that will allow Woodley Lucas to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.

ISO 14001:2004 - Environment:
This standard will set out how Woodley Lucas can go about putting in place an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). The standard is designed to address the delicate balance between maintaining profitability and reducing environmental impact; with the commitment of our entire company, it can enable us to achieve both objectives.
