Property Developer

Woodley Lucas Construction Management have an associate company, Bakersgate Developments, who are a Property Developer.

Our past work includes us working closely alongside this property developer for a site in Arun Way, Horsham, West Sussex. It involved the build of 3 substantial houses and a block of 8 flats all built to comply with the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.

The property developer appointed an Architect and Design Team to develop the scheme design into working drawings. Woodley Lucas were appointed to be responsible for the Cost Management and procurement of specialist designs and contractors. The property developer approached Woodley Lucas on recommendation, as we were able to demonstrate through our residential construction management model, that significant cost savings could be made for a property developer when compared with more traditional procurement options.

We managed the works from site clearance through to hand-over and occupation, including managing the after sales service elements, as well as providing advice on sales.

Using our experience in projects of this kind we were able to apply our construction management expertise sufficient to ensure that the project was completed on time and within the cost plan we had agreed with the property developer, Bakersgate Developments.
